Building Restorative International Justice
The evolving US relationship with the International Criminal Court (ICC) has
been a subject of much debate. Believing that active US participation in

Alliance members Jim Stanbery & Yael Swedlow will discuss the evolution
of the International Criminal Court Alliance from its humble origins as
United Nations Association-Pasadena/Foothills Chapter project to its success in ngaging US
awareness of the court. They will present an inside perspective on the role of the ICC and its achievements to date, highlighting the major issues at play and the Court’s role in contributing to transitional justice, accountability, peace and reconciliation.
