Chapter will be hosting Thomas
Miller from 2-4 at the Orfalea Center at UC
Santa Barbara. The Orfalea Center is adjacent to
parking lots 22 and 27 and in front of Robertson Gym at UCSB.

Loretta Sanchez to Speak
at Chapman University
NOTE: This event has been cancelled
The October 3rd Orange County Chapter luncheon for Loretta
Sanchez at Chapman University has had to be canceled because
of a conflict in Loretta's schedule. When we find another date
to reschedule the event we will notify the Division and will
post this on the web site. Any admission fees turned in for
this event will be returned.
We are sorry for the cancellation and I look forward to awarding
Loretta for her fine work on behalf of International Education
in the future.

Division ANNUAL MEETING
We are honored that Marilyn Scaff Hempel, Publisher
of The Population Press, will present “Population
Impacts On The Millennium Development Goals.” In addition, our annual DIVISION
ELECTIONS will be held and each Chapter will have an opportunity to honor
members and share their activities. Bistro 45 is a very classy
restaurant you will enjoy ("Top 100 Restaurants in Nation" Conde
Nast Traveler), within easy walking distance of the Lake Ave stop on the
Gold Line. The all-inclusive cost is just $40 per person - a special discount
rate just for us. Valet parking is available for $4.50 per car for the length
